Donate to become an Abbott’s Booby supporter and make a difference for these endangered seabirds.
The Abbott’s Booby nests only on Christmas Island. They mate for life and maintain the same nest site throughout their lives.
The modest Christmas Island National Park seabird rehabilitation facility cares for approximately 80-100 orphaned or injured birds annually, including Abbott’s boobies, red-footed and brown boobies.
Did you know that there are only 3,000 breeding pairs left?
The Abbott’s Booby grows up to 80 centremetres and has a wingspan of 2 metres!
Your donation is acknowledged with an environmentally friendly email fact sheet about your new friend, the Abbott’s Booby, and a receipt.
