The Abbott’s Booby nests only on Christmas Island. They mate for life and maintain the same nest site throughout their lives.
The modest Christmas Island National Park seabird rehabilitation facility cares for approximately 80-100 orphaned or injured birds annually, including Abbott’s boobies, red-footed and brown boobies.
