The Parks Trust, with the support of the Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park Board of Management, Central Land Council, Mutitjulu Community Aboriginal Corporation and Director of National Parks, is seeking to bring partners together to empower Traditional Owners to reinforce how Tjukurpa (Aṉangu law) holds a large and important place in conserving the natural and cultural, World Heritage values of Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park.
Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park is jointly managed by the Aṉangu Traditional Owners and Parks Australia. The Park has prepared a new 10-year Park Management Plan (2020-2030) in English.
The goal of this project is to translate the Management Plan into Pitjantjara/Yankunytjatjara, creating digital resources accessible to the Aṉangu community. The community will be central in delivering the project, creating employment and learning opportunities about film making.

Additional funding is required to provide employment and learning opportunities for Aṉangu people to lead, create and be central to the delivery of communication products. Funding provided, with government funds, would be used to cover the costs of employing Aṉangu translators, actors and project manager.
