Safeguarding the future of threatened Australian plants

Australian National Botanic Gardens

Thank you for supporting the Australian National Botanic Gardens (ANBG) to look after our threatened (and most at risk) native plant species.

The ANBG is home to the world’s most comprehensive living collection of Australian plants. World-class research unlocking new knowledge on Australia’s rarest plant species is an everyday part of work at the Gardens. The expert horticulturalists and scientists secure wild specimens and undertake critical propagation and cultivation work which helps them understand what each species needs to survive.

With changing climates and increasing episodes of extreme weather events, some wild populations of plants are becoming locally extinct. Your support for saving an important part of Australia’s natural capital at the ANBG is more important than ever before.

This is an ongoing project, so if you wish to donate you can do so below. Every donation counts towards safeguarding our threatened (and most at risk) native plant species.
