Ashmore Reef Marine Park is one of the 58 Australian Marine Parks. It serves as a critical nesting and stopover site in the Indian Ocean, 630 kilometres north of Broome.

It has been designated a Sanctuary Zone to minimise disturbance to the pristine environment, but invasive fire ants and weeds have made it to these three tiny islands.
