Together we can achieve more for our oceans

Australia is surrounded by magnificent oceans and a marine environment that’s the envy of the world.

The National Parks Conservation Trust proudly supports new conservation initiatives in and around Commonwealth reserves, including Australian Marine Parks.

That’s why we are working with the Director of National Parks on the Ocean Discovery and Restoration Program.

We recognise that the Director of National Parks is uniquely placed to enable access to some of our country’s most remote and wild island and ocean places. The approach for this Program is collaborative – working together, we can achieve more.

Collaborative partnerships will enable larger scale positive impacts and project results including cutting edge science discoveries, protection of iconic threatened species populations, research and restoration of unique, fragile ecosystems.

As a partner, you have the opportunity to realise ground-breaking conservation efforts through support for innovation, access to research vessels, expertise, and promotion and delivery of good ideas and on-ground outcomes.
